Director Advertising Sales UK

It is the first online, global TV distribution platform, bringing together advertisers, content owners and users in a community-driven environment.

Based in London, the Sales Director UK will be responsible for the strategic pursuit of advertisers and agencies involved in the decision making process for advertising and marketing opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing environment/industry, demonstrate problem-solving skills and is comfortable with limited oversight. This individual will have exceptional sales and negotiation skills, a sharp agency and client focus and experience in both internet and media across advertising, promotions and cross-platform opportunities. Experience in a start-up environment and a strong understanding of internet technology is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day sales efforts in the UK to achieve budget

  • Build long term relationships with advertisers and agencies

  • Build and create sales strategies and proposals for the UK

  • Work closely with other territories for multi-local and pan-European deals

  • Develop sales presentations with appropriate internal personnel

  • Review and approve campaigns/plans prepared by sales planners

  • Work as part of a global ad sales team with counterparts in Europe and the US

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of advertising sales experience in the UK with local and pan-European agencies and clients.

  • A successful track record as an advertising sales executive; with a history of exceeding quantitative and qualitative goals

  • Strong understanding and experience with all media platforms (broadcast, cable, online, print, etc.) ? previous internet experience is a must

The position requires travel to the US and Europe.
